Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made changes to the way we deliver your care. To minimize spread of COVID-19 we are now offering telemedicine appointments. In addition, we are also seeing patients in clinic for walk-in concerns as well as patients that have been given an on-site appointment by their physician.
In the spirit of social distancing, walk-in patients may be asked to wait in their cars until they are ready to be seen by the doctor. As well, all patients are required to wear a mask when presenting to the clinic.

If you meet the above criteria we request that you stay home and book a telephone consultation instead. Please note, not all appointment types can be booked online due to COVID-19. You will have to call the clinic directly if you are unable to find the appointment type you are in need of on the online booking system. You may require COVID-19 testing which we DO NOT perform on-site. If you need to be tested for COVID-19, you can call HealthLinks at (204) 788-8200 or 1-888-315-9527. Healthlinks will then direct you to one of the designated testing sites in Winnipeg:

Telephone/Virtual appointments can be booked online at www.charleswoodclinic.ca or you can call the clinic at (204) 889-7200 to make an appointment. If you have an upcoming pre-scheduled appointment, and have not been told to come in to the clinic for that appointment, stay home and your physician will contact you by telephone to provide your care.
For medication refills, make a telemedicine appointment so that your doctor can provide this service. We will accept requests from your pharmacist if you are unable to book a telephone appointment prior to running out of your medications.

Telemedicine allows you to consult with a doctor via telephone (and video call if necessary) and address your medical needs quickly and without travelling and sitting in a waiting room!
Be assured, that via telemedicine, we will be able to follow-up on outstanding results, investigate new complaints, order bloodwork, prescribe medications, arrange imaging tests and make referrals to specialists as needed.

To see a walk-in physician, patients can walk-in from Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM and on Saturday & Sunday from 9AM-1PM.
Please note that a number of appointments slots are available to patients looking to book online same-day or next days appointments . In the event that there are no longer any available appointments online, patients can still be seen by a walk-in physician during walk-in hours by simply presenting to the clinic.
At present, we are not accepting new patients. However, please note that when we do accept new patients, we accept patients via the "Family Doctor Finder Program". If you do not have a physician, please call (204) 786-7111 and they will support you in finding a physician that fits your needs.
